Just installed here today gonna have drive by and longer rev let me know what else yoi want to hear. Video is short cause
I was shaking so bad with excitement sounds beautiful in person. Exotic muscle sound, has an amercian muscle rumble at idle then has a Jaguar roar when you take off.

Gonna dyno her next week to see what I gained. !

Nice OP glad you love it too. I have the same exhaust (resonated);although, I did had the non resonated one first. It sounded sexy on cold starts but was way too loud driving around.

This exhaust sounds killer when you take off but goes silent down the road until you torch on a poor soul on the highway haha

Found myself a tunnel to blast in had sunroof open cause windows were fresh from tint shop

Next day found a parking lot to make some runs back and forth

Thought I'd have another go at some rev's once I'd made a few passes and fresh off the highway also.

I can definitely feel the difference getting onto highway and taking off from stop lights tehe haha

must have a very sensitive butt dyno, or loudness may be an influence

Excuse me? I'm gonna dyno this week and if you drive a car enough you know how the car drives and performs when you change the whole exhaust system from stock.

exhaust and jpipe are definitely added power...you notice it for sure.
yours sounds great! the resonated version with a jpipe and hfpcs was way too loud for me haha, so i added a bigger resonator but overall the xlr8 setup is sweet! my favorite mod for sure

HFPCs made it louder and increased the drone. To the point I had to install a bigger resonator (the xlr8 is super small) so I could comfortably talk to passengers. With the larger resonator pretty much all the drone went away and still sounds great

Break-in that metal! It'll sound lower and sportier than what you had recorded. report back. My favorite exhaust note so far.

Luckily it has that balance of not to loud and loud when you want it to be worth it.

^^ I think you are confused. I never talked about PCDs.

I said I had the resonated xlr8 quads (stock cats and xlr8 j pipe)). Great sound and not too loud. Added the HFPCs and I needed to add a larger resonator in place of the xlr8 resonator to calm down the sound and reduce drone. Xlr8 exhaust still sounds great and it sounds great inside the cabin also

Yeah I did definitely a major modification that's worth the wait and be money. If you have the $$ I definitely suggest this setup.

^yes.
you can just buy the XLR8 exhaust, if you wanted to.

wait, you have a TSX.....this section is for the TL's.
so, no...you couldnt do that because our exhaust doesnt fit your car.

Haha its for a buddy's tl, should of clarified that. He is looking to get the xlr8 exhaust without the j pipe but if it makes a big difference in sound and power then he rather get the j pipe as well. Currently just has a takeda cai.
