Arrow Will Comptech make a SC for the 07 Type S?

Do you guys think Comptech will release a SC for the new Type S? Its a bigger engine, so does this mean there is more room for power? And how long will it take for them to make the SC after the new model has been released? I know it took a while for th 04-06, but since this car is made for performance, they may work on it faster since sales may be higher?

When the car comes out, the Comptech will look into it. Notice on most of the Acura models besides the RL have been supercharged by Comptech. Comptech is in place for business, they will analyze once the new comes out.

^ Me neither. I don't like the front bumper/fog lights or the wheels. I did like the steering wheel & the mirrors.

By the way, you are the MAN for getting that Boston newsrag and the first pics.

I also do not like how the new one looks. However I still can't wait for the 07 to come out.

Can't wait till I retrofit the paddle shift, side mirrors and maybe even an engine swap with a Type-S engine!!

Speaking of supercharger, I am getting mine on monday!!

It will be the first 3.5L supercharged engine by Comptech if they do decide to go through with the project.

I wonder if they'll try it.

Just because it's a 3.5L does not mean the engine is bigger physically. We already know the 3rd GEN TL which is 3.2L shares the same engine block as the 04 MDX which is a 3.5L. The only difference between the two engine are the internals such as the crank shaft.

I may do a 3.5 swap with the s/c. I'll wait until November to deceide.

I am also waiting to see the engine spec when the Type-S come out. If it's not too much trouble I will do a 3.5swap with S/C as well.

i have looked into it with a mechanic and if everything bolts up the way it should be, then it really is not that hard.

Of course, we will never know until we actually do it, and there is always the problem with fuel tuning.
