I have yet to see any axle backs for our cars, not sure if anyone makes them. I do know that comptech makes a cat back, greddy is about to come out with a cat back there is a thread about this. Most members go with their own custom setups, im sure if you want axle backs this is the way you may have to go.

You could probably purchase them from the sites vendors, but ive heard that comptech is having troubles making the exhaust and getting back on their feet.

I'd say do what we are doing, get yourself 2 universal mufflers and custom make your own damn cat back for half the price

view our discussion of custom exhausts: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/would-you-do-jennifer-krum-164756/

Hey guys,

I'm also looking to upgrading my exhaust in my 05TL. However, I prefer the Comptech exhaust due to that its a little louder than the stock and also does not have much drone. What do you guys recomm? Was looking into HKS but have not heard any of them in person. Only reason I need to go this route is that my wife would bi*ch all day about any other exhaust and I also have 3 month old son to drive around.

Don't do it, just stick to stock for your son.

x2

ull get drone if u change ur exhaust around...
but if u want a nice subtle sound, just do a stage 3 modification

imho it sounds better than most exhausts since there is more of a tone rather than a deep hum

It shouldn't be too much, price of the mufflers is probably $140 each, and it shouldn't be too hard to remove the old mufflers and put these on.
