Where can I get CAI

I just bought a 2007 TL Type S 6MT. I have been looking online everywhere but it looks like there is not CAI being offered for the 07 TLS. However I did find one on AEMPOWER.com but it retailes over $300. I have been shopping around for the best price at performance shop dealers and the best price I got is $240. Has anybody gotten there Intake cheaper or another brand. Let me know. If you did how does it sound on the TLS. Hopefully not like a rice. Thanks

the one for 04 to 06 TL fits perfectly. For a really good price, contact excelerate on the boards here. It will be much less than that

It is deep and throaty and loud when VTEC engages. We stock them in polished and silver and have them for $250 shipped and a few dollars for Paypal/CC fees. The intakes from the 04-07 TL also fit the TL-S.

Nice. Thanks for the support. I guess eBay helps support Acurazine.

Thanks for the comments. It just gets frustrating seeing "go to eBay" in every other post after the vendors on this forum work hard to answer questions and support Acurazine.

i would buy all my stuff from vendors on this forum if they were the same price as anywhere i could get them. for some reason, i expect vendors on the forum that i go to to give me a good price, not sure why but it's what i would expect. i mean i know there is no reason to warrant that but still. i know that the vendors on this site are what keep this site free and available for every1.

but if i can find the products somewhere else cheaper, why would i spend more money?

its like you going to a place to purchase something more expensive when there is no added benefit. in most cases, not being charged cc fees or paypal fees. just my opinion.

excelerate, i understand your frustration but you didnt need to be sarcastic about it. could have been dealt with in a professional matter.

most importantly, find a CAI that is carb approved, i dont think the OP is in cali but not sure how the laws are where he/she is located. i just got pulled over yesterday and didnt have my carb sticker on my injen, injen is currently sending it to me right now but it is a pain in the ass.

Firstly, the difference in price on the AEM CAI for the 3rd gen TL from the cheapest vendor on ebay and myself is $15. So why spend the extra $15?

1. I am an Authorized Dealer for AEM, which means you will get a warranty and customer service, unlike many ebay companies.

2. As you said, " the vendors on this site are what keep this site free and available for every1. " If ppl buy from ebay and don't support the vendors, guess what will eventually happen: you will start paying for membership.

3. We answer a lot of questions on this forum, so why is it fair for us to answer all the questions and help out everyone and someone else get the business?

4. Many times there isn't any price difference b/c we price our parts very aggressively for Acurazine members. Also, we stock thousands of dollars in inventory to ensure quick turnaround times for AZ members. And we pay a good amount of $ to advertise here on AZ; we love AZ but we need the support of its members so that we can continue to support AZ.

Id rather pay an extra $15 for better customer service and since exelerate is giving back to the Acura community Id purchase from Josh any day because I know his prices are good and his service is even better. I know where hes comming from. I work for a Acura dealership and our dealership does alot for the community so we expect all of our customers within the city to buy from us to keep the tax dollars local. I know that has nothing to do with this subject but Im just a strong believer in good customer service
