When Does Vtec usually kick in?

When Does Vtec usually kick in?

hi guys, i just own a 2006 Acura TL last month and i was wondering when does Vtec kicks in, i've been asking diffirent people and they say it kick in at "5000 rpm" can someone confirm that?

Kicks in at about 4500 RPM.

My TL is an Auto transmission. So, my VTEC kicks-in everytime I put the pedal to the floor. Smart As answer, but still true !!!!
