I think you'd have to decide what the best cat-back system is for yourself. A lot of people would probably say the RV6 true dual, but you might not like it. Search exhuast and listen to sound clips for a while.
Definetly do a search my friend. you will find TONS of threads exactly like this.
So far, I have had the ATLP V1 Base, CT Engineering, and now currently have the ATLP V2 Quad Exhaust. Good friend of mine (mrlal8) has had the XLR8 V1 base and now has the XLR8 V2 Quad. Every exhaust was great in its own unique way, biggest difference being either the tips or the sound.
OP, what model car do you have?

We offer catback exhausts for the base and Type S 3rd gen TL. Just click on the following link to see the options:

XLR8 Performance Exhaust System are designed for function, form and style. Each exhaust system starts with T-304 stainless steel, known throughout the industry as the highest quality material practical for after-cat exhaust applications. All exhaust tubing is mandrel bent on sophisticated CNC machinery for a precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow. What’s more, the use of T-304 stainless steel flanges offers high strength and complete resistance to harsh elements. All hangers, resonators, and tips are T-304 stainless steel as well.
The mufflers used are built specifically for each system and are designed in accord with years of racing and street development invested into the design. Each muffler is tuned to match its application for the best possible performance gain and sound quality combination. Each muffler is polished to a high gloss beautiful finish; the rest of the stainless steel system is finished in a natural satin finish.
And we now include Purge Resonance Technology in our mufflers in order to reduce drone, which is a common problem in most aftermarket exhausts for the 3rd gen TL.

Its one thing to hear how it sounds on youtube but it another to hear it in person try to go to some local meets and check out what you like. I heard djmanu and mrlal8 and they both sound great but for me personally I like mrlal8 (xlr8 v2 quad)its just more my style and it sounds excotic in my eyes but the ATLP looks pretty dam good on our cars to good luck
Ah, im in the same position. Can't decide between XLR8 and ATLP. One deciding factor i guess will be who has it in stock. XLR8 currently does not have a resonated V2. They're made to order but ARE cheaper than ATLP (IIRC $1025 vs. 1250ish)
If I'm not mistaken, I think they certainly do...

i ordered my j pipe that same day and just got it yesterday...i know what i'm doing this weekend!
you cant' go wrong with atlp or xlr8, i chose xlr8 because they have a technology that cuts down on drone (supposedly..I'll find out soon).

xlr8 still sells the resonated v2, however it just takes a while to get it fabricated since they are made for orders. i ordered my res. v2 quad oct 28th and i still haven't received it...should be worth it when it comes though!

The j-pipes we have in stock. The exhausts typically take 7-10 days to build.
i received the j-pipe yesterday, but the 2nd big box shipment (75 lbs) still says Fedex hasn't received it yet. do you know if Fedex actually has it yet?
J-pipe looks like great quality, can't wait to put it on!

Yes, of course they have the Resonated V2. I just meant they didn't have it in stock when I called a couple days ago. For me thats a bit of a problem because my car is in the shop for only a couple days and I can't have it waiting on the exhaust while I drive the insurance company's rental for another week
I haven't called Heeltoe yet, but if they have it in stock, I might go for the ATLP quads instead...even though the cost is a lot higher.I may just go with the non-resonated XLR8 since they had it in stock; and then add a resonator if I have to.
I'm still looking at my options obviously...and getting all the more confused. I really would like the XLR8 resonated exhaust though.
