what is a Throttle Body Spacer?
I just got my 1st car which is a TL, and i was wondering what is all these modifications? all i know is intake and exhaust, what about everything else, let me know guyss,

i got a fukin disease...... MOD BUG!!!!!!!

...i don't think its either.

i only said it CAN be used to accept nitrous nozzles....and only then is it a HP item. but i doubt it changes any sound.

Id say more for looks than anything. I never understood it's purpose honestly and I have 1 on my car lol.

you will not notice/have any increase in sound or hp with the spacer. +1 on waste of $$

The throttle body spacer is a 3/4" piece of machined aluminum. Combined with thermal gaskets on each side of the spacer (designed using a proprietary heat resistant material) the parts showed a 5whp gain on a TL.

makes your plenum have more cubic inches....reduces heat.....not sure bout the 5 hp though....im sure it gives you something

i got it an it will be helpful eventually. it gives ur engine a faint whistling sound, and it CAN be helpful. i mean im going to eventually run a dei intake system through the vacuum port on the spacer, along with meth injection for the turbo kit next year im getting, and a 50 shot of nos eventually!!!
