What should I expect to pay for an AEM....

...cold intake system installed. The first place I went to wants $450

intake = $299.
bypass valve = $50.
labor = $80.

Am I getting screwed? Thanks

$300 for a aem cai is a bit too much. you might still be able to pick up an intake for $235 shipped from one of the vendor. bypass valve seems ok. labor, no clue.

Best price I've found (so far) is $224 for the TL-S; it's $237 with shipping. Regardelss $299 is WAY too much.

IMHO, labor is not bad. Say an hour or so for $80. That seems pretty decent.

I could do it with my eyes closed but I don't have time. I did the headlights and tails myself. I just want to pay and have it done.

Does anyone have a link to a better AEM price. He will match internet pricing.

Thanks

Fujita one can be bought for 125 brand new. There's a seller on Ebay, when you offer him 125, he takes it

You could also support Acurazine and support the Acurazine vendors. eBay doesn't support Acurazine so why give your business to ebay? Acurazine vendors pay monthly advertising fees so that Acurazine can operate as it does and not charge members for membership. Why not try PMing one of your vendors about the intake before buying it on ebay?

Dude, I set up my laptop on my workbench on the installation thread and it took well under an hour with simple tools. You don't have to take the fairing off, either.

do it urself itll take an hour. make sure u remove the battery and instake from the engine bay first. lift the car on the left side pull the box out from under the bumper and ur done (theres bolts holding it all together so youll need to undo those first obviously) with the removal the install is a joke just make sure u dont over tighten the side intake mount other wise the intake will crack like mine =) and then you'll have to get it welded....like i did. ENJOY!!!!
