well here is my stupid question of the week!!

Im confused with this cat language. What is a cat back and pro cats and all this other cats i hear if? lol anything else i need 2 know plz dont flame i have 2 learn this somewhere i love u guys

 

Cat back is referring to exhaust systems that bolt onto the flange after the last catalytic converter on the car . The pro-cats are catalytic converters that replace the OEM ones.

You can install the procats and a cat back exhaust as everything will still line up.

 

which brings me to this question....is the comtech cat back system loud?

 

from what others say NO. and i've heard one so far and its nothing like the loud ones you hear coming from civics.

 

its louder than stock but there is still a lot of sound suppresion in the system to not make is obnoxious

 

it definatly does not sound like a civic fartcan, in the 3g garge, theere is a link for the soundbyte of the comptech exaust.
