Did the sound change after putting the stock tips?

DAym I just noticed that the original list of 10 filled up in ONE DAY!!! That means in about 3 months I bet Mike can EASILY drum up another 10 if he wanted to. The demand for ATLP is really extraordinary!

Yeah i am pretty sure of that too. I wish there was a way for the price to stay low as well as his profits higher......he could keep it going awhile.

Nope, my stock is untouched. I had Magnaflow 304SS slanted tips welded on.

Replayman.....Is it me or are the tips hugging the inside of the bumper more on the left than the right side of the car? If you wanted the look of the exhaust sticking out further, you accomplished that but it does seem a little odd that the left exhaust tip sticks out further than the right on each side. I don't want to upset you, just stating my observation. I think a Type-S skirt would really set it off and stick out with the exhaust tips. Are you looking into that?

I believe the ATLP base will fit the Type-S as well. Just no more quads... I'm glad I got in on the last 10...

You could do something similar to what Replayman did to the base ATLP. Everything is basically the same between the base and quad.......so, you could cut the "base" tips and add dual pipes. The mufflers already have two exits.

In fact maybe you could buy the tips from Replayman.

Anyone with Anthracite getting the rear Type S, A-Spec lip:

- Get a color with the black gasket, light gray one is too light and stands out against AM. The gasket also should be removed and re-applied for paint, can be a PITA/time consuming. You and also just remove it, doesn't look bad without it, as far as the rear lip.

I talked to Tim on AIM and he told me that it's hard for him to offer a group buy b/c the shipping costs the same for the ENTIRE kit as it does for just the rear... so basically he just linked me. It's about ~281 shipped... I posted the link earlier, but somehow the post got erased...

So am i a asshole for having a full ATLP quad system...and 4 spare ATLP tips?? :rolleyes:

i just found a guy here in ny that does fiberglass a spec kits....he told me 350 for the front and rear ...the fit is great but its not painted...is that a good deal?? maybe if i get more guys to buy maybe we can get it cheaper....

that new vendor quoted me 215 for the front a-spec and 215 for the rear and 40 bucks for shipping i would buy from him

You mean plastic right? OEM A-spec parts are made of flexible plastic. You sure don't want fiberglass.
