So....

I have been looking at adding a Cold Air Intake and Exhaust on my 07 TL for quite a while now...and so I was talking to my parents about it. Then my dad told me that his friend's son, who has an IS300, couldnt pass the smog check cuz he had exhaust and CAI...and has to go to the dealer and spend $$$ to get it reverted back to stock conditions...

I am kinda confused right now. I was looking at getting:

and
Greddy EVO II's with an added resonator (cuz its kinda loud). along with A-Spec body kit.

or

Type-S exhaust with A-Spec (Type-S) front and back underspoilers (factory unpainted, then painted CGP)


Has anyone who has added a CAI and Exhaust had trouble at the smog check?? i feel kinda noobish asking these questions, but any help is appreciated.

I have added a AEM V2 and GReddy EVO2 and I pass just fine...

when u take your car for check dont say anny thing that you got intake and all other stuff. my homeboy got 07civicSi got fujita intake and told the guy that he got intake and all other good shiet on his car. guy plug his computer to my home boycar and said it wont read it cuz he got intake and guy told my homeboy to give him xtra 30$ if he wanna pass so hes dumn ass paid 70$ instead 40$. my homeboy his kinda slow too.
