Warped CAI need help (pics inc)

Warped CAI need help (pics inc)

just about to install my used AEm V2 and i realized the end where the filter attaches is warped. doesnt seems like a major issue. should i mess with it???

If you had a band saw you could trace the circumference of the good area onto a 2 x 4 , cut it out and then lay the bent part in the cut out area and tap it with a ball peen hammer to reshape it.

i got it from am member here and the pic was from the side u couldnt tell it was warpped. i wonder how it got warped there are no sighns of wear on the paint at all no scratches where t s warped either

Try taking it to a muffler shop. I have a pipe expander that would straighten it out. The only issue may be the pipe size depending on what the shop is used to. I've got an expander that will do 3-3.25" pipe and there are collets that will go larger.

exhast shops did work out. 4" diameter was too big. took it to a machine shop tho and they did it for free he was real cool
