I bought one of those in high school for my Civic, got it in the mail and then returned it. They are junk, I would save your money.

I had one on my civic with gsr swap. I noticed v-tec kicking in at 3000 rpm. I had alot done to that motor. I dont know how this would work on a TL, but i would like to.

Pointless to have one unless you also plan on tuning the car on a dyno to eliminate the dips in the powerband that some VTEC cars have prior to the larger lobe crossover.

For that price, you could get an AEM F/IC for an extra $50. You would then have the ability to adjust your fuel trims for essentially the same price.

But like it was said above, it's really not all that useful if you don't figure in some sort of dyno time to make sure that it's benefiting you. I don't recall seeing any benefits with an N/A tune using the F/IC. I know that most of us F/I guys are seeing definite gains by shifting the VTEC engagement to 4000 RPMs.
