How do you like the exhaust?

In the second video you can really hear the Vtec kick in.

6mtV6... I love it. In that 2nd video I brought the car up to 4500 rpm and then kicked it right at the VTEC switchover.

MugenR... Thanks bud, one of my friends actually said the same thing about how it sounds like a supra. In the cabin, it has the exact tone of a g35/350z between 3500 and 4500rpm @ 50% throttle.

You can't find it because it's a custom setup. Awesome job ACCURATEin!

haha decided to go with the seperate thread for more exposure eh?

another supra compliment...not bad

the mods on accuratein's car seems to boost power a bit as i felt it to be faster then my own 6mt, pulling especially hard in vtec. the setup in person sounds amazing...not so loud that it is overbearing but a deep growl much like a 350z

cheers

subinf.... Yeah it does sound close to that of the comptech and magnaflow. You will have to hear it in person in order to compare the minute variation in tone.

TLover.... The muffler is universal. $345. The single tip design is unique.

da_illist_onE.... Thanks man! aloha!

aGenKa.... Thanks again for making the video clips.

CCColtsicehockey.... You'll get to hear it when you come down to NC.

For clarification... I drive the 5AT version, not the 6MT. I know it might look like i'm driving a 6MT haha

Isn't amazing the sound the exhausts make...great clips great sound but on a bad note I remember having the similar exhausts, Magnaflow catback to be exhact on a 2000 Si and it's fun to drive but sure gets old on long trips when it becomes a humming noise more than a pleasant sound.....and it wont go away at will that's the kicker....so IMHO great for those who still like the F&F sound effects but not for this OLD guy, been there done that.....

VelfarreClubber... Haha chappel is a funny guy. No you probably can't have the stock tips welded on.

Lokius... Two exhaust canisters would look better to most people...but to those rare breeds...single outlet is where its at! If a skyline doesn't deserve dual canister exhaust....why should the TL?

SSMTL04... Thanks bud...yeah its the 5AT...I guess the video clip is tricking everyone!

HEK... Thanks man...the droning doesn't annoy me yet. I bet it will when i get a little older.

TL CHROMETIDE... haha thanks man. I try.

i agree, some cars fit well with dual exhuast, some dont, but the rear bumper you have is made for two, so it sorta looks like it's missing something in my mind. but the canister is huge so it fills out well going out to the side like that... definently probably a little too much for some of our older tl friends haha

you probably could but thats a big ass can and it would take some work to get the muffler lined up straight enough to work with the stock tips. i used a set of universal magnaflows set well behind the bumper cover and it was still a paint in the ass to get the oem tips to line up right.

It will be almost impossible to have the stock tips custom welded to any HKS muffler.

I might have the car dynoed tomorrow.

you have an AEM cai? Sounds like it, usually it drowns out the exhaust in the upper rpm's.
