Urge to Do Something

So I have an 2007 Acura TL Base AT 5Speed. I had a recent urge to do some thing subtle to it. Appearance wise or performance.

Any suggestions besides nice rims and tints? Thanks! And Would a supercharger work in a base TL?

Thanks!

There are plenty of performance mods you can do...intake, exhaust, j-pipe, spacers, pulley, and i guessthe supercharger does fit the 04-06 TL's but i'm not sure about 07+. You can search for these mods, should be plenty of threads

Subtle mods.. Hmmm.. CAI, A spec body kit, typeS tail lights, typeS side markers, cleared head lights, new HID bulbs... Haha I dunno. I'm getting into the TL scene too so we're in the same boat! You can also change the color of your grill

Good luck!

hey if you're thinking about modding you car. i will say this.

save up 5k and get the supercharger. it will make you FAR happier than spending 200 here 600 there 400 elsewhere and end up gaining very minimal gains.

had i know the info i have now about the TL 4 years ago, i'd be boosted and not in the mediocre scenario i find myself atm.

JCL...you have used the acronym "atm" quite often and I still don't know what it means! I had a feeling that it meant something like 20 minutes ago but now I forgot my thoughts and it's bugging the hell out of me. Say what it means please!

As for P1zzaman, performance mods can be quite subtle; depends on how subtle you want to be...a supercharger, in my opinion, is not a 'subtle' mod. For a first move, being subtle, I would probably do a cold air intake and some tints. My next move would be an A-spec lip kit.

I also don't think a supercharger is subtle and there's no way to get that past the wife.
Just check my signature and let me know if you have any questions. The only thing 'subtle' that I haven't done yet, is a catback and rims, but I'm not done yet.

So basically make it look like an Type-S. I guess i should start with some tints then work my way up.

^ Haha I guess you could look at it that way...

The Momo shift knob is pretty cool. You can get the carbon fiber trim for your car as well. It all depends on how much you want to spend... The great thing about the TL is that it already looks great stock!

Type-s Tails and side markers look good, i have a satin silver and its not that i want to look like a type-s, but i think they are a better fit than the stock reds.

How about the underspoilers? thats fairly subtle.

www.hondaacuraworld.com has lots of OEM factory add-ons and good prices/fast delivery.
