upgrade the brakes...

I own a TL 2005 and wanted to ask folks- can I get the bigger TL Type S Brembo brakes installed on my car? Do I need to get new wheels to accommodate this?

There's tons of info on this topic if you do a search. The short version is yes, you can use the factory Brembos. No you don't need larger rims. But it's generally cheaper and easier to go aftermarket.

ROTORA has a 1 pc BBK which is roughly $1350 shipped. It includes 13" discs, 4 piston calipers, brackets, lines etc.

Or you could upgrade to a STOPTECH 2 pc disc setup which is about $1750.

Or you can do the Wilwood 4 piston 12.6" kit which is only about $800.
