Type S mufflers, is it worth it?

Hi Guys,

Ive been trying to buy some type S exhaust or quads for my conversion, and ive finally located a set of mufflers. The guy wants $400 for both. Is this a good deal? obviously im trying to get him to go a bit lower. seems pricey for just the mufflers.

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

you could go custom for 400 dollars at a local exhaust shop that will blow the type-s mufflers out of the water.

thats what i was thinking. the guy pulled the old "ive got another guy looking at these now too." Good try, but im not an idiot. I was thinking $300 might be worth it, but even thats alot for just mufflers. i just really want the quad tips, and havent seen many aftermarket mufflers with the look that i like within a good price range.

^ thats what I have, it doesnt satisfy me at all :\

But if he is looking for Type S quads that means he has a larger space for bigger tips, the $67 tips are small

$400 for just mufflers is ridiculous. $400 for the entire exhaust is reasonable.
