There is no reason to do twin turbo when the single turbo tl is as bad ass as it is. Twin turbo helps to speed up spool an issue we don't have in the TL due to the 11:1 comp. This guy is gone as well as the multitude of people with big plans and no realistic way of making these plans happen. It's fun to be different, but unless you are well funded and very handy with this platform, it's too expensive and frustrating to do for most. I have learned this the hard way with my turbo build and the car being down for so long because no one had any experance putting a turbo on the 3G TL.

Any car that is dyno'd correctly will run a long time. Hondata is your tuning solution. Money will range you $10,000 at least. There's many threads on this covered if you take the time on the site. My run on sentence.

On a side note, I think this engine could reach 200 mph on a twin set up...

That being said, the TT-TL project came to a screeching halt.

Now that I'm settled in my new house, and the wedding will be done and out of the way in July, I'm going to pick back up on this project. I still have the GT28's (actually, they're taking up space on my showroom at the moment), and I have already designed the charge piping/intercooler piping route.

I suppose life got in the way of making this project go full steam ahead!

Oh, and I have also been very busy putting any "extra" cash I have in the meanwhile into my other project, the turbo K-Series Civic coupe, which required some very expensive 2,000cc injectors to go on to make 614whp//430wtq on the stock engine on ethanol.

I apologize for getting certain hopes up, but it appears this project is paused.

The thread can be closed, if moderation sees it fit.

just check in every now and then when you're about to change your oil so that you can get another 100 views lol...

I would reccomend the J&R kit, but I think it would hard to get a hold of one.

As far as the 200 MPH, I hope you are kidding.

I don't mean to single you out as this message is intended for everyone. Please proof read your posts before before submitting or atleast in the 5 min grace period. I usually ignore posts that I don't understand on the initial read thru, and many assume if you can't put a coherent sentance together you will not understand the response or have the $$ to do what is being advised. Again, I am not trying to be mean, just helping to get your qustions answered by someone worthy of listening to.

Twins do not make more power than a single. Twins spool in a more linear fashion but slightly slower than a large single. A large single will hit harder. Both have their place but a large single is preferred in drag racing. You can figure out why twins might be preferred in road racing. This is of course all else being equal which it rarely is. There are exceptions to every rule.
