TL needs a chip!

The day this thing is available. I will be the first one to sign up for the group buy or the pre-order. These things do wonders for any car if you don't plan to use F/I

Perhaps there is one in progress right now we can have this thread for discussion.

There are already several companies that claim to have chips for our cars; none are worth the money.

I'm not betting on a new chip to be any different.

Hondata, one of the most recognized and ambitious tuning companies tried to tune the N/A TL when it first came out. They gave a few members here BETA copies to figure out the driveablilty and gains. They found that HP increased on the dyno, but in real life the car was slower and wasn't as smooth as before. They scrapped the project for the N/A TL. They do have a great tune for the S/C guys, buy you have to go to church automotive in CA to have Shawn drive to hondata and get it.

it would be cool if we could get one of those "programmers" that plug into the OBDII port like you see for dodge and chrysler
