Thinking about intakes..

I have an 08 and would like an intake. Any suggestions based on knowledge, experience and of course sound verses between brands.

Thanks

Intakes are mostly the same, especially when it comes to sound and gains, there are short ram intakes and cold air intakes.
Use the search function and you will be able to find every detail about all brands and applications.

I have an Injen on my TL and it is pretty nice. If you don't care about gains and just want sound go with a short ram intake.

Thanks I'm thinking about the aemv2.

But what about just removing the stock resonator?

How does that sound? I can't find any true YouTube videos.

Removing Stock resonator doesn't do much for anything sound/ gains. I have aem v2, got off amazon for 240 shipped.

removing the resonator will net you a throaty sound at WOT.

You'll probably get this from me in any of the searched threads, but the intake is really worthless for our cars. You're just gaining some sound.

Save up or buy the V3 RV6 J-pipe. Slightly better sound and 8-10+ WHP.

You could start off with this first... I went ahead and ordered the same thing for my 08TL.
