Who's running Hawk HPS or Hawk Performance Ceramic brake pads?

Are you experiencing any brake noise? If yes, did you resurface or replace your rotors?

I ask because I have a conjecture that Hawk pads, even when burnished and lubricated properly, will make noise if the rotors were not replaced or resurfaced.

 

Its a fact- right on the hawk website
It says to resurface or sandpaper with 130grit-
clean the rotors to remove old pad residue
Failure to do so will result in noise and less efficient braking

 

Hawk Ceramic + Racing Brake rotors.....both put on at new. No noise whatsoever
