That vid is on yur girls digital camera isn't it. Yur right, we need to see a clearer, longer take. (15 sec is such a tease) Then get one from the end of the track too so we can see how you pull that EVO.

Love the effort u put into this for our entertainment!!!

<- welcome to the club. those are great times. its always fun to pick on evo and sti. i would love to see the other driver's face when you pull from behind and pass.

i have a 6sp now and the goal for this year is to hit 12's all-motor. stay tune for more timeslips.

Very cool video!

Just wondering, what wheel / tire setup are you running?

A-Spec wheels, and BF goodrich G-Force Drag Radial on the fronts, and Nitto 555R on the rear. The front tire pressure is down to 22 psi. The quality of the video sucks, I have to get some better videos soon. Hopefully by tuesday.

hey guys im new here and i have a question about the nozzle placement on againstallodds1's car. why does it spray into the s/c instead of after it? dont the rotors in the s/c mess up the spray pattern?

I have it spraying into the CAI to cool off the blower. I might put it in the elbow though. It might be better in the elbow, because it is going straight into the intake manifold. Me and Ryan were talking about it today.

I think tomorrow I might switch the shark nozzle with the snow performance nozzle. They should be a direct fit into each other. I will give the results.

Ryan, the drive by wire switch is great. It goes on perfect, right at 3700, and shuts off right before the redline. Well the bottle is almost empty again.

You kill me, we can always mount my k bottle through the trunk pass through and put like 6 or 7 more heaters on it then you could spray it all the way from my shop back home. HAHAHAHA. Try switching the nozzle with the w/i nozzle but be careful the w/i nozzle needs a very thin wrench.

I took the w/i nozzle out and put the shark into it. Direct fit, I didnt need the the small wrench because I didnt remove the jet. When I lowered the jet, I had to use the small wrench, ignition set. It just pulled out and the shark went right in. I didnt run it hard, but I felt a little difference. Then again it was in the morning at 75* out. So who knows.

I live in south florida and last friday was at the tower shops for the weekly car show. one of the guys i see there from time to time told me he saw a twin turbo tl leaving as he was coming into the parking lot. i questioned him on it and determined it was a 3rd gen tl. he said it had two holes on the hood where he saw the turbo's. dunno?? this guy seems to be acura knowledgeable and a honda fanatic, so could be.

does your guy ever come down to south florida? start a new thread when you get the pics, lets keep this one on track.

Sorry to hijack your thread. Those are great times! I babied mine out of the whole, 2.5ish short time, 13.45ish at 115mph-ish. these cars are hard to leave the tree.

New times

Just got home from the track.
13.125 at 107 mph, with a 2.11 60'. Now I am knocking on the 12's door. I am happy now.
Also hit rev limiter from 2nd to 3rd. The only problem is when I go through the trap I am in 4th gear and it is a dog. All the torque ends in 4th. FLAT. Oh well gotta love these honda motors

Yea I was sleeping at the tree.

I was waiting for my friend to line up with me with his lightning. He got pulled aside due to water dripping from his motor. When I looked up at the tree it was going down. That is why my r/t was a .778.

Salem is South of PIR. PIR is at the very North of Oregon right off I-5, its like minutes away from Washinton. From Salem to Portland its like and 1 1/2 to 2 hours drive. Add another half to get to PIR.

Theres also a dragstrip in Woodburn, which is like 45 minutes North of Salem....

Oh this car is capable of a 12. I just have to go back a different day, when it is not so damn humid out. It was 80* and 95 % humidity. Ill go back in late august or september to get that 12. I think I am done for now. I will settle with a 13.1.

Oh by the way, my buddies lightning ran a 13.3. So I would of won. Too bad he got pulled off. It would of been nice to smoke that 5.4 liter supercharged Ford Lightning.
