Stoptech brakes (or brakes in general)

Anyone have any experience with this set of brakes.

There are a couple other options available from other vendors but I
have dealt with Excelerate in the past and have been happy with the
products and their prices. Been trying to decide on this for over a month now.

Slotted vs. Slotted/Cross-Drilled vs. Plain... blah blah blah

Just wanted to hear your thoughts on the subject.

There goin on this:

I got the front ones (drilled and slotted) from Excelerate last year and the rears last week (getting them put on tomorrow.

So far, love the look and and very happy with the performance. Definitely worth it over stock, especially the price and the lOOk!

pull the trigger

^^^ Yeah, they all look good !

The cross drilled ones worry me because:
1) the outer most hole is super close to the edge of rotor (suseptible to cracking (?).
2) I have a friend who races a Z06 and has gone through multiple sets of cross drilled rotors.

I doubt that I'll put enough stress on them, but I'll be pissed if I have to replace them soon.

The Cross Drilled ones look frickin sweet though !

Josh from excelerate sells many of those kits to azine members. I have not seen a thread on the drilled rotors cracking.

in addition, I've heard that the cheap ebay ones are prone to cracking due to cheap materials.

I'm happy with my slotted rotors.

Yeah, I've talked to him via Azine. Excelerate has great service and products.

Not gonna go eBay route.

Just not trying to do repetitive work

Just make sure you get SS lines, brake pads & change the brake fluid. Then you'll really benefit & feel the difference
