Stage 3 exhaust. Done!

When I bought my RV-6 j-pipe it came with a test pipe. I wanted to see what difference I felt with the j-pipe alone so I didn't install the test pipe. Well I finally got around to installing the test pipe and went for a ride to see if I noticed a difference. None at all. Didn't notice any performance difference (wasn't really expecting much) or any sound difference (was expecting a deeper tone). So as I was driving around I stopped by a custom exhaust shop to find out what it would cost to replace the stock resonator and chop off the mid muffler. They quoted me kinda of a high price ($150) but this is a shop I trust that does quality work. I was gonna go home and think about it but decided "fuck it" it's only money. I went ahead and got it done. Wow!!! Nice subtle increase in sound with deeper tone. The guy that did the work was like man the sounds good. So my exhaust is pretty much done for now. I have the RV-6 J-pipe, RV-6 Test pipe, and stock resonator replaced and mid muffler removed. Maybe some day I'll finish it off with new rear mufflers.

Reason you didn't notice a huge difference with the test pipe is because you still have 2 more cars directly off the heads. If those weren't there you'd notice a Huge difference.

Yeah I realize that. I'm not sure if I want to kill little birdies though. The sound is enough for now.

Stage 3 makes your car sound similar to Infiniti's.

Yes you really do feel a good increase in performance. The car just seems to want to go more. I am used to it by now but when my brother or gf drives the car they are like wow nice power.
