Hi everyone. Found this post today in the 2nd gen TL forum and I'm wondering if anyone has done anything like this for the 3rd gen TL. It seems simple enough to do.

To me it just seems unnatural to upshift by pushing forward. Every manual transmission I ever drove required me to pull back on the shift lever when going from first to second, so I naturally want to do that as I accellerate. Has anyone tried to reverse the + and - on the sport shifter to accomplish this? I don't use the sport shifter that much and I think it's because I just can't get used to it!

 

it should be possiable...if some one can fine a service manual to the TL i would give it a try
