A-SPEC Body Kit Question
By any chance has anybody installed their body kit?
If so how hard is it? I'm thinking about not having the dealer put it on and trying it myself, if it's not to hard. Any help would be great!

piece of cake. It is quicker and easier if you have a friend to help. I did mine a few days ago. It took me a whole day to do it myself. Do as PeterUbers suggest and buy some 3m heavy duty tape at home depot (4 roles). It will eliminate the gaps and give it a cleaner look. The tape that comes with the kit from the factory is very thin.

just have a friend help you out. as long as you have the tools (a phillips screwdriver), which you probably have, it's an easy straight forward install.but do what tony says and purchase more 3m double sided adhesive, you will definitely need because to a-spec kit's adhesive doesn't cver up the gaps well. make sure all the nuts & screws are included with the kit. the instructions for install should be included as well.
I installed mine the day after Thanksgiving. Pretty easy. Little scarey being that it calls for you to drill into your bumper. I think the rear is the most difficult and thats just because the rear bumper cover needs to be removed, not really too bad though. Don't be scared and go for it. When all is done you will definantly like the results. Here in San Diego TL's are so common, after the install the car gets a lot more looks. Install took me about 4 hours. Take your time and I have to agree with the extra tape.
Depends on if you buy in kit form. The suspension is part of the "complete" ASPEC kit. However many, like myself are just buying the parts of the kit we want from dealers willing to part out the kit, (which most aren't). Or on EBAY. For instance why get the wheels if you plan to go aftermarket (ronjons
).
