Sleeper Mods

So I'm at 45.5K miles and the 50k mark is coming up fast! I've been stock with the exception of a few weight saving mods and LED lights.

So what mods are the easiest performance mod and yet keep the stock/stealthy look. I'm not interested in a S/C or Turbo setup. Probably 500-1000 dollar budget.

Could you guys post a mod + cost to buy + gains #?

Thanks

My technical background is probably a 4-5/10 with 10 being the highest.

I'd go with the pre-cat deletes, j-pipe and test pipe. Adds a nice tone and gives you awesome power. AEM V2 CAI is a must

Just those mods should run you about $700. I'm not sure how much HP you gain but you'll feel the power no doubt.

aem v2 www.excelerateperformance.com - $300
UR crank pulley www.excelerateperformance.com - $200
XLR8 j pipe www.excelerateperformance.com - $400

thats all you need. the www.rv6-p.com pre-cat deletes will make your car obviously not a sleeper. it will make it a good amount louder.

I suppose I should add - I would like to keep the car sounding as close to stock as possible.

Thanks for the posts above so far!

The easiest, cheapest and most HP improved mods ive done are xlr8 J-Pipe, RV-6 precat delete = 500. I noticed alot with them and no noticeable sound difference. Then Intake for 200. So thats 700 and a big notice in gains and easy bolt on parts that you can do yourself and take off anytime. I would be up in the air for the next 300, honestly I would do the NAVtool for the rest if you have nav :thumbs up:

the UR pulley is 150-200 and it gives 1/10th of a second I've read and 1/10 is a 100 pounds. Just remove the passenger seat and you'll gain same if not more. :-), I would do the UR pulley thou over the 3rd cat delete if you can find a nice used one that someone is selling on here. Just on ebay one went for 115 shipped.
