It looks just like the ct engineering short shifter. Might just be a cheaper knock off version

shipping is $15 I am about 6.5 hours from Quebec, I actually get items quick from Canada since I am in the New England area ..
The vendor here want $20 for local shipping alone, I asked how heavy is this item and got no reply
I saw the CT was $55 shipped and now its upwards of $80 -$90 and demand is down

Just buy the real thing and avoid potential issues...its a PITA to get in there for the job and you'll be pissed if you have to do it twice.

it's not that bad of an install if everything is the same in your car as the DIY. BUT...my interior steel parts had some extra tack welds and i couldn't remove certain items so i had to do EVERYTHING inside my car with it all in place, and that was a pain in the ass. hopefully yours doesn't have that haha

Comptech short shifter and Heeltoe hybrid bushings.

Then pick a knob of your choice or stick with the OEM one, whichever you like.

I would definitely avoid the knock off and stick with the authentic. I know of some horror stories in regards to shopping on ebay, and have had some bad experiences myself.

I have the HT spec shifter kit, bushing, short shifter and knob. I like it but the short shifter seems hooky. I would go with the K-tuned aluminum shift base with adjustable throw, that looks like a real solution.

Why is shipping so high .. A USPS priority flat fate box for less than $6 should be an option, they have a 70 lbs limit that is better value for smaller packages..

That's a shit electo-plated junk steel Asian market knock off of a proper alloy; I'd stay the hell away from it and go Cor Sport.

seriously? it's a solid piece of metal that simply changes the fulcrum point. What are you all expecting the cosmo to do? Melt into goop sitting in your car because its made from 'omg low quality crap metal?" Seriously...this isn't and exhaust that is exposed to the elements, though these 3rd gen $1000 exhausts are a complete other story..

Someone will inevitably claim that the cosmo isn't right and can cause issues..but wait! It's a copy of the CT - it can't be both. It's a generic version of the CT. i.e less overhead and advertising dollars. 50% of the price of everything is attributed to advertising and marketing, so buy the cosmo and save some money.

It's expensive but I always thought the way the "short shifter" attached to the current TL shifter stick kinda of sucked. The advantaged of the more expensive one is it's more rigid and you can tailor the throw of the shifter to your liking. I spent $500 to get a beefed up shift changed assembly for my Integra and it was worth the money. The shifter spring is so strong that a 2-3 shift is only a matter of pushing the shifter forward. If I wasn't prepping my Integra for AutoX I would get one of the K-tuned shifters for the TL.

As far as buying real or copies I would stick to the real deal (don't flame me) but that's just me. I prefer to support certain company's over others and I do so with my business and money. Would you buy a Hytech Rep or Ebay Mugen parts or the real deal directly from Hytech or King Motorsports?

its very stiff. no flex took 45 mins to install since I have so much wiring running under the center console near the shifter

Cool...might skip this one, my shifter feels fine, not lose or shaky at all.

The k shift one would be sweet and looks to give more of a sports car feel, but at $400, idk I just don't see it (for me / my plans).
