Short Ram Intake

So im looking for a aftermarket intake on amazon and i see this Short Ram Air Intake with a K&N filter for $80 what ya think? Need opinion...

Other Choice: DC Cai

Not my kinda thing, but if you like it thats all that matters. Why remove the OEM airbox that is actually designed to be a "cold air intake"? I guess I just never understood the ones that mount the filter in the engine bay. Nothing like sucking up "fresh" hot engine bay air for your engine. I bet not only would you potentially lose power from that mod, but you would be installing an inferior filter as well.
Again, this is all just my opinion, but I feel its some pretty good advice.

CAI or just buy another OEM airbox.

OEM CAI system is better than that one. Get a true CAI or stick with OEM. The OEM box isn't too expensive.

I agree they actually put some work in designing the intake. The AEM V2 is my choice for quality looks and overall performance

Stay with OEM and start searching.

The AEM V2 is definitely the best in my opinion as well. As you said, it gives the best gains and looks the best. We carry this intake on our website as well for $279:

You're going to loose power with the Short Ram. Just mod the OEM one or buy a CAI.
