I should have ~10 sets of B-Stock precat deletes soon. The flange alignment didn't pass the jig test so I am having my welder fix them. Warranty will be the same and everything will be professionally welded, I plan on selling them discounted.

What kind of price would be looking at Richie? I am interested in them.

Also, any idea what the power difference is between the precat deletes and the old high flow metal cats? My cats are still holding up well, but currious if I could get a little bit more with the full deletes. I also have a MDX I can put a set one!

BTW, I have the Innovative motor mounts, is there going to be any issue using the deletes with the mounts?

I just switched my procats for the deletes. There is at least a 10 hp difference between the two. I know for a fact that my procats dynoed at 8 hps without any other exhaust mods.

I also have the same mounts. So far no issues.

The price depends on the cost to fix them. If it is to much I might not even bother. Not really sure about the power differences from the procats. Results may have been simlar before they melted and failed. What year MDX do you have, the newer ones have a extra egr flange on the precat.

The precat deletes will work fine with the innovative mounts as long has you are running the front and the back mount.

I would want to do this as well. the only thing is I wouldnt want to have problems with inspections. I live in VA but my car has NC plates, so that is where I do inspections.

The cats are still actually good. The MDX is an 04. I do have all 3 mounts on as well, so good, no issue there. Thank you. Let us know what you find out about the cost, very interested to know.

I thought that myself until I looked inside the procats during the switch. The internals are not attached to the inner walls of both the primary cats.

Not going to take them off till I get the deletes. Too much of a pain!

Now the big question is. How is the MDX manifold spacer going to effect or how are the deletes going to effect the manifold. I read in one thread that P2R suggested not to run the MDX spacer if - 1. you have the polished runners or 2. if the deletes had been added.

Anyone know much about this?

I have not read anything about that, however I have both the spacer and deletes and have no issues so far. Everything is positive!

dirtyjonny,

Keep the name. It's good. The member with the name "DirtyJohn" is a great guy. He had probably the fastest TL ever. He made his own turbocharger system for his TL. This was many years ago. He is still on the forum, mainly in the Second Generation (2G) section of the forum. The TL models from years 1999 - 2003 is called the Second Generation (2G).

I think they should be fine the issue was on a Accord. I think there a few people with TLs that have precat deletes and a atlp v2 jpipe.

They are brand new. The flanges didnt pass my standards so they will have to be tweaked.

Anyways I dropped off 10 sets today they should be ready in a few days and I will add them to the site.

Yes they bolt up like stock. Checkout Innaccurate's post.

the intake manifold is above the runners and inbetween the heads
the deletes are attached to the heads... not fitting...?
Maybe they were discussing how it would affect the air fuel ratio and the stock ecu's fuel calculations...

being the fitment guru I would just like to say they fit

I have 11 sets of repaired precat deletes. They are made with brand new V2 precat deletes that had misaligned flanges. The pipes were cut and a stainless steel coupler was TIG welded in place to correct the problem. These will include all hardware and have same warranty as the normal V2 precat deletes.
