RV6 J-Pipe V3
Is due out soon according to Richie. Too bad i just bought my V2, which i thought gave me a decent performance gain. According to Richie, it is much much better than V2.

even better, maybe he made the primaries longer, to which it deletes the 3rd cat altogether

Sweet! I'm looking for J-pipe & race pipe. Looking forward to seeing pics or Richie's V3.
ProbKid, I'm wondering the same, RV-6 V3 or ATLP J-pipe. Still shopping around and reading forums...IDK.

as long as he implemented a nice Y merge where the collectors meet (which i have a feeling he did this time around), it should be good. thats really the only thing his V1 and V2 were lacking for maximum flow ![Wink](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

like the labree jpipe i had

But if you r not planning on running pcd's it fits just fine without cutting cat back right?

No, the PCDs have nothing to do with that as they come before the Jpipe. Now, you don't HAVE to run a 3rd cat. But those who do with the PCDs will have to cut their cutback if the primaries are long enough to delete the 3rd cat in itself.

i needed a 3rd cat installed BADLY. the fumes were too overwhelming and i didnt want to cut my 1k+ comptech catback. not to mention, my exhaust tone was altered too, so i reinstalled my ATLP v2 and sold it to a friend.
longer primaries are proven to give you ALOT more power, especially tq. have you seen the labree jpipe? im sure you have, but just incase.

if so, then please explain why you think this cant beat the flow design of the xlr8![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
not only that, this thing tucks up BETTER than the stock jpipe
def slammed friendly

Nonetheless, how bad do you think it smelled? I'm interested in this "unofficial" RV6 V3 J-pipe, but just worried about the smell. I love my car and its luxury touch, but I don't want any bad odors when my friends, family, or potential customers smelling

^As long as you have your precats in place I wouldn't think you'd notice anything. Can't you pass emissions sniffers with a test pipe...it would be about the same.
I think it would be nice to have a J-pipe like Labree's in production for the 3g community, but if I run without the precats I'm gonna want a HFC for sure. And I don't want to have to cut my exhaust to fit it, so I think I would see the best gains with PCDs, a HFC, and a normal length J-pipe(I think Xler8's currently gives the best gains IIRC but it hangs pretty low so I have ATLPv2 for peace of mind).

Richie is there a price range that you have right now. I want to have an idea so that I can start saving up again. Also are you going to do the combo with the test pipe and race pipe?
Just wondering could the Test/ Race pipe have the holes for the shield for it? I live in CA and they go Ape shit if I remove one of the CATS
