Did you have to reset it because of this install? If so how did you do it?

It doesn't smoke anymore. The exhaust note is different. No rasp just loud but sounds good. Careful with the rear o2 sensor is hard to remove the wires.

Installed mt HFPC's/J-pipe combo from RV6 on Friday 02/22/13. Quality is great, all parts and then some included, so far super quiet for me, just a little different sounds when I first start it up. RV6 sells a great product....

Ordered ceramic coated HFPCs on Feb. 25 and will do an e-dyno before and after the HFPCs, and then another after tuning with Flashpro (already have Flashpro but can't use it since my ECU code isn't recognized yet, but should be in 2 weeks with the new software release). Will update results here for relative improvements with HFPCs!

Awesome cant wait to see the results. You should post the Hondata results on the Hondata thread though. Keep this about Richies pcd and hfpc. Hurry with those results though

Haha yea I wasn't going to put the hondata results on here, just letting people know that I can put up the e dyno before and after the HFPCs to provide an idea. Hear tons of great things about these HFPCs!

That would be awesome. I just ordered my HFPC and jpipe yesterday. It be nice to know what kinda of results i can expect roughly. Im still waiting on the true dual too. Ive thought about the Hondata as a last mod. Id be curious as to how it does.

just put on my HFPCs, they look and sound awesome! i'll put up some before and after e-dyno gains (relative) later this week hopefully. one quick question: when I turn off my car it makes a fart/burp noise (but i don't have an aftermarket intake), anyone else get this? i'm going to re-check today but was curious, thanks

Got and installed my ceramic hfpc replacing V3 pcds and LOVE IT! I also did an CA emissions test with hfpc+stock j+3rd cat+rv6 catback and my car passed. I will be testing it with the V3 J pipe within the next week so stay tuned. (illegal to modify the catalytic converter on vehicles, this is test purposes only)...

glad to hear you passed! i have nearly the same setup as of this last weekend (hfpcs and 3rd cat still in place with xlr8 jpipe), and was curious to see what happened but that's great news

Thanks for doing this bud as I'm also worried about the Cali smog with this exact setup (HFPC + V3 J-pipe + exhaust). I figured if anything I'd have to replace the J-pipe every smog which isn't a huge PITA; definitely not as bad as a PC swap. Your test will let us know if any swapping is necessary prior to a smog.

Also, is the ceramic coating really necessary if I've done a partial ultimate cooling mod?

Cooling mods I woundnt really put it in the same ccategory of modding. Sure, it does keep theengine bay cooler but when I think of ceramic/wraps, it's to get the exhaust flow moving faster. The hotter exhaust gases get the faster it flows. Been wanting to test sooner but been busy with work, it'll happen by the end of Saturday if not sooner (smog test)

Sorry guys, I can't fully deliver what was promised. I went to go test this morning and my buddy tells me "it should pass". The thing is is that it's my buddy's shop and he was doing it for free so I didn't want to be demanding. The car never went thru a full on smog test but it was put under load and he checked the numbers off the screen according to what ever speed he was going. He said all gases were still low enough to pass. I hope this will help and not have you guys waste your time the first time and apologize that I don't have that hard evidence everyone wanted to see
