The v2 install was cake he says, went through the wheel well with no problems, and it fit perfect, no need to bang anything away from it. Only problem is the battery barely fits, so I'm either going to relocate, or get a braile, shitty situation since the battery is 2 months old.
Yo man, glad to see you got all that stuff in finally! I was waiting to see how much of a PITA it was to get your bolts off since we got our cars at about the same time and have been dealing with the same weather conditions. I was hoping that with a car that was only a few months old, that pulley bolt would come right off, guess not!

I had teh same issue with the V2 and the battery. I was thinking about a Braile, but my batter is barely 5 months old...it's already starting to crap out though. Maybe I can get Acura to give me a credit on the battery...hmmm

Anyways, I can't wait to hear it all.

Yeah it was finished last night, I got to drive around alittle today, a type-s(seemed stock) pulled up next to me at a light. I guess he thought i had the base 3.2l with a type-s badge because of the greddy(not meant for type-s) and it was pretty scary off the line, the car torque steered like a bitch, but in the end I smoked him.

The sound doesn't bother me yet, I havent taken it on the highway so I can't really say how the drone is at a constant 65mph. When I was driving at ~50ish, it wasnt bad at all, rpms were around 16-1800. Only thing is there is alittle rasp which I am hoping will go away once I get some decent miles on my car, if it doesnt, hello aero resonator.

Dyno was planned to be tomorrow, but probably not going to happen. Friends car is not done yet and I gotta wait for him, that was part of the deal when we did the install. He helps with mine, I help with his. The latest will be tuesday, but most likely monday.

Yeah, I made sure I tightened the fck out of that bolt, thats the last thing I want, 35lbs sliding right into the v2. would be horrible.

No doubt, can't wait to hear it in person, if you need a hand im just a few towns over lol

^^ You can't blip the starter on an 07-08. You crank it a little, and it will take over and start.

^^ very true

wasnt on the 04-06 Models.... 07+... you put the key in, and if you even slightly flip into the III position and let go, the car will fully crank...

good ol breaker bar is the best method!!

make sure you torqed that f*cker to like 181 lb/ft....(oem spec).. most car crank pullies are A LOT less than that... hondas have internal harmonic balancers, and they needed to be torqed down heavyyyyy.. thats why its a bitch to get it off

Update:

Was able to dyno today, but I dont think it was accurate at all since I have only put 25 miles on the car since the install. After a few hundred miles, I'm going back to have it dyno'd again.

Base: 237.23whp / 206.44ft lbs torque
Modded: 262.78 / 224.26 ft lbs torque
25.55whp gained / 17.82 ft lbs torque gained

Video will be uploaded by tomorrow and I will post them

Also the owner of NRG hooked us up. I went with my friend in his MB s600, and they couldnt figure out where to attached the rpm cable. Got there at noon, by the time I pulled in was 1230, left at 230. Only charged us an hour because they couldnt figure his car out.

25.5 WHP is like 31 crank. So your TL-S could be said to have 286hp + 31hp = 317hp.

Those are some good numbers. I dyno'ed my type-s w/o the precats and I got 274whp. I believe some other members here also got that much w/o precats. I also used a dynojet. It seems your numbers should be a bit higher. Nevertheless, good numbers

NicE! Which one of those items do you guys think contributed to the most of those gains? I'm thinking the J-pipe.

thats about smack on.... just dyno differences

put on the pre-cats...that dyno will show in the 280's.... those suckers make top end power like crazy

top end is scary in the 5AT too man.. i had some kid in a 7th gen maxima with definitely I/H/E trying to mess around with me on open around... i definitely smoked him, but his car had some balls to it... i had to go all the way up to red line in sport shift mode, when i banged 2nd, TIRE CHIRP FTMTFW....

wish i bought the 6MT.. foolish mistake on my part... but atleast its the best 5AT around

With these pre-cats you won't pass emissions, correct? What do you do then? How much whp do they add. I want to put on the RV6 J-pipe, 3rd cat delete, an AEM V2 intake, won't those 3 things add alot without the pre-cats? I was thinking about the UR pulley, but I have a 500 watt RMS mono sub amp, but doesn't having a 1.5 farad cap take care of most of the battery drain? Should I get the underdrive UR pulley/belt, or will the lightweight OEM size UR pulley add? I want to add about 30hp and pass emissions.
