I was just reviewing the thread and noticed somebody else touch on this fact that I would like to bring to greater light for those that might have not taken notice...

Richie is one hell of an innovator and has went the extra mile to provide us 3G owners and Accord owners with products that we need to enhance the performance of our vehicles in a big way that are not available through the aftermarket industry. Dont forget to show the love....guy has really went to bat for us and came through in a big way. Not in the "me too" way either....but actually taking a concept and taking it through development to production. That says something right there and I would like everybody to take a minute to notice this fact. No offense to other vendors on this site...they all do an excellent job. But in my eyes....Richie has gone the extra mile for us to actually listen to the market and respond appropriately. Not to hang off Richies nutz here...but damn...I really look forward to meeting Richie in person as I am very impressed with his abilities, products, and marketing sense. Again....take a minute to show the love. Dude went to bat for us in many levels now and has always come through 100%. One of the main reasons you see me personally running Richie products exclusively when ever possible.

I approached richie with the idea last summer... it was funny cuz it seems that rv6 r&d is held over aim with him and myself

richie's reply was pretty funny cuz he was actually surprised and didn't know there was no bar available... and to boot when mr heeltoe had posted he was in the works with cusco about it richie was sort of lossing sleep over the fact that he feared he couldn't compete with that "brand"... well, 6months later... and all I can see is a bunch of happy customers...

get em while its hot... cuz again... once they sell out... they'll be just like the atlp quads... everyone wants em, but they will not be produced any longer

so I say this to you rich... the investment in time and most importantly money... has paid off

I wonder if our TLs can install a rear lower tie bar. Probably gonna be for show rather than performance. I've seen a 7th gen AV6 coupe with an OBX rear lower tie bar.

How about a subframe reinforcement brace like the ones on integras/civics have by ASR?

^ that would be quite pointless... I will discuss some ideas with richie on what to do....

I really think the progress rsb is the best option and the only option worth installing...

I guess this must be silly question, but if I have a TL Type-S, do I still need Front Strut?

What about rear lower tie bar or sway bar?

All the front strut bars are the same in build quality. No dont need it but they are just plain sexy.

I think someone else mentioned it above as well, but here is what I'd love to get for the TL, I already have them for my GS.

Tom's lower braces

Front

Rear

can someone post a pic of richies jpipe??
jnc ive been looking at the frame of the car lately and thinking a frame support system like the one u posted is in need.....it would give the car less flex...IMO.
better handling and less creaking as well....u guys ever drive up a driveway and hear the frame flex through the inside of the car in the plastic pieces???? drives me nuts! It would suck for slammed TL's though and even for stock hieght ones because it would hang low... but there is a way to make it....im sure we'll have it at some point =)

^^ +1, you'll have the upper part of the frame sorted out with the strut bar and the lower braces would tie it together neatly to reduce/eliminate flex. These braces did wonders for my GS.

i would recommend it lol. regardless of what people say or think, i actually feel more control over the car at higher speeds. its not all in my head either lol.

another thing, they are limited in production and they are sexy. its very cheap for what your getting. you will regret not getting one in the long run. lmfao

oh and richie, ive been waiting for a catback for the Type S (not feeling the excelerate and the ATLP is no longer in production).

maybe you can deliver

Apparently there's a downside to the RSB's....they might tear the rear sub frame. Do a search on the forums.....quite scary actually. That's why I haven't installed mine yet, so it wouldn't be horrible to have some sort of reinforcement.

Richie, the OBX rear tie bar on the white Accord was made for the 98-02 Accord, I verified with the owner.

Got any links where to purchase them? And are they a direct fit? Or are spacers needed? I've been wanting lower tie bars for the TL ever for forever!

Just wanted to show my love as well with another Pic.

As for the lower tie bar, that would be sweet. I had one on my Lude. It was more for looks then actual use. It stands out when some one is behind you, that thing just pops from under the car.
