RSB adjustment question

Right now i have a progress RSB set on the stiffest setting or as they call it on track. But in my oppinion the ride got definetly more bumpy even thoe many people say no....anyways i never had it on the street setting wich maybe should make more sense. I was just wondering what it takes to change it to a different setting, do u have to take it off completly.... i tryed raising one side and i unbolted the end-link but couldnt get it out ...
whats the proper way to do it and is it even worth doing it. Im going on a long trip tomorrow so i would mind if it wos a little better ride ..

thanx

Easier if the car is in the air.

- Loosen the bushing bolts (all 4), just a little to give some "wiggle" room.

- Use an Allen Wrench (8mm, IIRC. Might be 5mm) in the end of the End-Link to RSB Bolt. That keeps the bolt from spinning.

- Loosen the End-Link to RSB Nut.

- Repeat on the other side.

- Now remove 1 side of the RSB from the End-Link and change it's position.

- Loosely reconnect the RSB to the End-Link

- Repeat on the other side.

- Tighten all nuts/bolts to Torque Spec.

20 minutes - TOPS, even for a noobie.

BTW - don't crawl under your car with "one side" in the air if it's on the stock OE jack. Not even with a floor jack.

Jack the car properly and use stands. Or use Ramps. The life you save will be your own.

did you have a chance to try both settings, im wondering if its gonna make a big difference, i know it would going to stock but i hate that bodyroll more then anything especially with big two subwoofers and amps in the trunk. I love the way the car behaves but could compromise a little for more comfort

I haven't. Set it on "firm" and left it there.

I would think that the RSB is going to have a lot to do with how the car *feels" over bumps while driving.
