Rotora BBK on 5AT TL

Here is the Rotora4 BBK Kit that I got here on Acurazine from Excelerate in the group buy recently. I got both the Rotora Front and Rear BBK set, 4 Piston Calipers, 2 Piece Drilled/Slotted Rotors in the BLUE color. They are also available in RED or BLACK too. I got blue as they were available when I needed them and EVERYBODY has red....so it is kind of cliche' at this point. Figured I would dare to be different. Before you ask...yes....those are matching BLUE color locking lug nuts (Guardian). I finally replaced the red ones I had on there last night. (since I got blue calipers)

Trying em out!! They work great!!!!! High recommends on this mod!

Click any of these icons...free MP3's! From me and my friends at Subnoize to you! Put these in your TL and crank it to 40! Obviously after a reformat though.

...to order the rear brake kit or not to order the rear brake kit...that is the question.

I think you're the first one with both the front and rear correct?

Are replacement brake pads and rotors readily available? Are replacement parts typically available 3-5 later?

Yes....parts are readily available. You can check/verify with Excelerate as he is the vendor...but there is plenty of choices available in the Rotora Catalog that they enclosed in the box.

All pricing should be obtained from Excelerate (vendor here on AZ) as obviously publishing his pricing on the internet would not be good for business. All I can say is he will offer you the best deal you can get on em!

Looking good Mike BTW the BBK's only come in Sky Blue Metallic or Red. Other custom colors can be done but ROTORA charges extra and there is a 60 day wait for the kits.

I'm waiting for my front brakes to give up the ghost....but a BBK (F and R) is definitely in the plans for my TL. I think the sky blue would go nicely with my SSM TL.

Thanks for the pics, Michael!

Oh god...I know exactly what you mean buddy! This BBK led to a whole fallout around here! Not one I wanted to get into either. All about how much money I spend on my car, time on AZ, ect ect ect ect. GOD! Here's an answer I am working with.....ship em to work/office! lol! And for gods sake...dont have her take you anywhere (speed shop) to drop the car off and need a ride...even if you ARE covering both car payments and own both cars, the house, ect ect. and get no help financially from her!

Funny thing was....it was a delayed thing (which is ALWAYS WORSE). Its like she brewed on it for a while and then brought it up first chance she got weeks later. God...I didnt deal with it well either...what can I say....born with a steering wheel in my hands. Yep...had to be hard on Mom too! A steering wheel! Well...not sure....maybe I dropped it on the way out and they had to reattach it to my hands afterwards, I cant remember? lol

19x17x11 high plan on that much stash room for each side ordered.....that is the size of each box...front...rear. Each side (front or rear) comes in seperate boxes. If you order both....double the height to almost 2 feet. That is the temporary stash room you are gonna need!

Now...if somebody would just tell me the size of the supercharger box shipment so I can pre-plan stash room for that! I guess I can bury it in the garage somewhere?

You ARE being an optomist. I'm thinking if there's gonna be any building at my house the room will be 7'x3'x2'. Just the right size to bury my sorry ass, then I won't need the brakes!

By the way.. Excelerate has prices under the Group Buy section.

Are those 13 or 14's?
