Replacing CAI filter and pipe

instead of gettin a 300 dollar intake could i just get these two?
please why ir why not?

my old CAI broke, and i bought that flexi tube as a temporary fix in order to drive the car.
IMO, it sucks. I hate it, and it neglects an output for your MAF sensor.
MPG went down as well after installing it.

I just want my DC sports intake back

oh wow so what inate should i get to uprade the stock? also would o be anle to add one of those filters to my stock inatke?

You don't really need a CAI. Just adds noise mostly. If I were to get one it would be only so that I could heat wrap it to minimize heat soak.

Does neither. Just noise and maybe 1-2HP. Do some research. It's been asked half a million times.
