removal of stock exhaust and putting on new exhaust
im curious , i was thinking about putting on my new exhaust by myself with my j pipe, has anyone ever done one or both of these by themselves and how hard is it? id really like to save the money from the install and do it myself. thanks for any help with this.

It's definitely possible. But there are tools that you'll need, one big thing is a welder.
I built one from the 3rd cat back and it came out great. The nice part was I didn't like the first result so I was able to take it out and change it until I got the sound/low drone that I wanted.
There are lots of treads on the subject.

The J-Pipe is very easy. All you have to do is remove 3 nuts on either stub end of the old J-Pip and undo it from the rubber hanger, and Poof, it is out! You can definitely do the J-Pipe yourself at home.
I would recommend you PB blast all the nuts the night before and use a breaker bar if necessary. I replaced all the nuts with new ones. Just went over to Acura and bought nine new nuts, pause, for 3 bucks.
If you are buying an aftermarket exhaust, i.e. ATLP, XLR8, etc. You definitely do NOT need a welder. Its all bolts. Bolt off, Bolt on. I havent done the exhaust myself yet, but from what i read, its failry simple. If anything. Google Comptech Exhaust and download the install instructions from their website. I read through it, and it sounds really simple. Hope this helps.

this is VERY do-able and easy provided you do it the safe way. easiet way would be done using a lift. if a lift is not possible, find some LEVEL ground, grab some jack stands (all four corners of the car) and some pb blaster. you may need a torch for some of the bolts to heat them up depending on ur weather conditions and ur cars age. remove the j-pipe first, then the rest of the exhaust. i CANNOT stress how important it is to use every last SAFETY precaution. other than that, ur golden!

^ Agreed.
I did my j-pipe, race pipe and exhuast install solo on jack stands using hand tools. It's not "easy" and I ran into some problems (stripped a precat stud that backed out when removing the stock j-pipe) but it's definitely something you can tackle yourself and, like you said, save some cash. Once you get the stock stuff out, installing the new parts will seem simple. And, you definitely don't need a welder.
