Relearn and ECU reset, right and wrongs

I have noticed a lot of people saying disconnecting the battery will make the ecu relearn all over, this is wrong. i cant believe all the people that may think their ecu is relearning because they disconnect the battery. the real way and proven way to reset the computer or should i say relearn is to.....

too be continued....

i will spill some secrets but not now. i want to grab some attention from people who will listen to me.

is it turn the key to II while the foot on on the brake. Then turn it off and leave your foot on the brakes, and etc. I remember there was a post about it.

1. turn on car and then shut off A/C, radio, lights, etc.
2. Turn off car
3. Turn car to positon 2 (radio, navi, guages, etc come on)
4. Press the gas pedal to the floor for about 30-35 seconds
5. Turn off car
6. Turn on car and then go for a SPIRITED (that means very fast and pounding within limits) drive

See if it helps since that will reset the trans and ECU logic to a factory state.

I have this image in my head of everyone standing on a bridge hanging over the side waiting for the little dude in green shorts to come out from under it. Maybe he'll have a pot of gold too.
