I like the second ones. Interesting i was thinking of doing something similar. Would it be possible to use harness belts if successfully installed on TL?

there are no rails available for our car... you can run accord rails but it will require drilling

BUT... mike's on top of it... see this thread for more info--- https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/burned-cds-174925/

Yes it would be! just have to have then anchored in the proper way. BUT using harnesses in a car without a roll cage is not recomended. Because of the fact that in a rollover situation, the roof would cave in and with a regular seatbelt its desgined so you can move in a certain way to avoid you neck getting snapped, but with harnesses in a rollover, if the roof does come down far enough, you could get seriously hurt.

Summary: In a roll over you could snap your neck.

I agree... alot of weekend track fanatics use lapbelts along with the 3point (stock) belt...

my friend got them on his IX MR, those seats are very nice, hold you very well all around, not all rice looking so they might look good on TL.

Personally, I love the Recaro SPG's.

But you always want to sit in the seats to make sure your butt fits in there and it hold you without being uncomfortable. For me so far the SPG's fit perfect. I'm 5'7 about 160 lb's, black hair, single...hah jk!

just make your own rails! disconnect the 2 rails on the seat or cut it then weld metal brackets between the 2 rails connecting them and drill holes to where the seat connects to the rails. there should be 4 holes to drill. just make sure u measure everything correctly before you start to weld. i did this for my teg.

What sort of weight loss would you have? It would be tough to leave the heated seat

noo your using the stock rails so everything bolts up perfect. you drill the holes in the brackets which you welded on to the rails, not the TL.
