The reason for MSRP Superchager Increase:
Accord AV6 guys had a will to make it fit and did so.
The demand must have gone up, and will continue.

I know those two guys/cars. It was done at C&C Auto by my buddys shop. The blue car took off the acm and hooked up the e-manage and is stick, and the other car has the acm and is auto. The blue car is crazy fast...

The opening of a new market (i.e. 7th Gen Accord sales) should increase sales, which would increasing production numbers, thus increasing economy of scale/manufacturing volume. The resultant manufactucturing cost should be less, which SHOULD result in LOWER prices to the consumer.
In supply and demand terms... Wal-Marts cheap because of Volume sales. CT has increased it's volume and it's price.
Bummer... Look like that SC is slipping even further out of reach... and to raise prices without addressing the surging issue is... unjustified in my mind.

usually if not always, increases in the cost of raw materials are passed onto the consumer

My point is that if thier vendors/manuafacturers raised prices , those price increase COULD/SHOULD be reduced by the increase sales volume the 7th gen accord brings...
The bottom line is Comptech probably sell so few of these, it's hardly worth thier time investment, and thus the exhorbitant cost that folks continue to pay.

"Accuratein besides having to move the inlet on the radiator what else had to be modified to fit the 7th gen Accord? Fuel management?"
nothing different has to be done to make it work. use the acm or hook up a e-manage. The blue accord had the acm, then switch to the e-manage and is stick. The other car has the acm and is auto. I was at my buds shop who did the install for both cars and it mostly bolts in except the mod to the radiator.
