RDX turbo in TL-S 07 possible?
so i own an TL-s 07 A/T, so far completely stock except changed the interior lights, but besides that only 4k miles so far fairly new...
And my parents were talking about the new RDX and i heard it comes with a turbo, so i was thinking if it was possible to take it out of the RDX and install into my TL.
Can a RDX turbo fit into a tl-s 2007?

Should be in Performance section, but the RDX turbo cannot be retrofited easily into the TL, repiping of the downpipes would be needed along with comprehensive tuning. After all, the RDX is a 4 cyl.

Impossible even with the money, it would be like the never ending question, is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable
The rdx motor: k23 turbo
The tl motor: j32 or 35 (in ur case 35)
The tl motor size wise is about a third bigger than the k23, as far as just swapping the turbine, there are much cheaper alternatives, ie. Garrett turbo
The only motor swaps I have seen is the k23 inside of an rsx/integra and a civic hatchback

custom turbo kit is a better choice. DirtyJohn in the 2nd gen forum installed a turbo kit in his TL-P (which has a J32A1). May be (not certain at all) you can look into that?

Getting the piping done properly for a variable flow turbo to retrofit onto a J35 = $$$$$$$$
And like the others have said..... the better alternative would be just to get a custom turbo setup... you can fit a bigger turbo instead.

why would you want to do this? you have the best power out of your naturally aspirated car...plus you probably couldnt mod the variable boost turbo to push more boost...just buy the comptech supercharger

can p.w.r (power to weight) ratio be brought up here as well?
well...why use 2.3 just for turbo? just to be cool? you'll be slower i tell you.
answer is NO. the rumor has it that its for future TSX application plans, and thats more likely since its a lighter car. and when that happens, just get the tsx. then you'll be happy.
as for the TL, a sc would be nice i believe.
