Racing Axles
Greetings,
I've been talking with Gator
Glenn of Gator Racing Axles
about racing axles for 7th
gen V6 6MT peeps. The
parts are extremely similar
to the 3rd gen TL pieces.
I have no pricing info yet,
I'm just gauging interest for
Glenn so he has an idea of
the total amount of units to make.
If you're interested, go here
or PM me and I'll direct you to
the GB interest thread, elsewhere.

i think you may have more interest in the TSX section as they have the same components as the accords, but the TL's are similar

Continuing the list of questions:
Are they more efficient? (less power loss?)
Are they more durable? (can they hold more power?)
I guess these would be a worthwhile investment for anyone who wants to launch their car with DRs at 6500rpms.

detonate w/ the power seriously
modded TL and 7th gen Accords
are delivering.
NVA-AV6 researched this as follows...
03+ "AV6 AT/MT both use the
same iner and outer joints, but
different center sections
(probably legnth). TL uses same
inner joints, but different outer
joints and centers."
Again the parts are very similar.
It's within Gator Glenn's capabilities
to interchage small parts in the
interest of a group buy.

2. yes, substantially.
Your guess is spot-on. Keep
in mind that the clutch will slip
before the axles will break
though. I'm waiting on my
stage 3 kit from Clutchmasters
right now. Btw the guy to talk
to at CM for a racing clutch is Jose,
tell him I referred you.

have snapped their axles under
boosted/sprayed applications.
Because the TLs have the LSD,
it's not as likely. Keep in mind there are
TL peeps that have serious
power adders and I'm guessing
being rescued from the track
once would probably
cost half as much as the axles...

its seems like a worthwhile upgrade if you upgrade your clutch. but then again you have to worry about your tranny also..

performance axles decrease turning radius... be careful. they're stronger because the cages are bigger with larger bearings, but only three or four. as opposed to the six bearings that come with most factory axles...

Back in my Eagle Talon days people were going to http://www.raxles.com/ . The hardcore DSM pushing out 450 hp swore by this guy. I never used him, but have heard good things.

Gator Glenn at Gator Racing Axles
told me he ordered 50 heavy duty
blanks spec'd from the AV6 6MT parts.
That should be good news for anyone
running a J series motor...
There's already nineteen (19) J series TL, CL,
AV6 peeps interested in pricing and availablility.
