I've had the hissing noise for a year. I had it when I installed headers on various cars. You'd know if you had an exhaust leak.

Got mine installed 2 weeks ago and same hissing noise upon acceleration. Thought it was exhaust leak and replaced gaskets but noise is still here?

Seems like it is common with the PCDs but any solutions found?
If you exhaust is stock adding a Magnaflow 10426 should fix the problem. Read this post for more info.

Hey Richie,

Thanks for the info! I've already ordered the Magnaflow 10426 from a local store, but as usual, I am now playing the waiting game for shipping. Pretty confident it will fix the rasp as everyone on Azine seems to say that after the install, at least 95% of the rasp is gone. By the way, I have a Comptech Exhaust as well as your Rv6 V3 J-pipe.

I'm just worried about the hissing noise being a leak but good to have confirmed with others that it's normal with the mods that I have put on.

Yeah...I regretted not ordering it from you a few days after I placed my order for the gasket set. I thought since the CT exhaust has a mid-muffler, there probably won't be much rasp at all and my main problem was the leak that I was having by running the PCD + J-pipe combo with no gaskets....

So I had to order it from a local store (told me 3-5 days) and now I have to wait all over again...
