There is a thread on that explaining the differences between all them. It's either a thread by Aznbo187, which is on the first page of this forum or by mrheeltoe, which you'll have to look for. I know both had a thread with that info. Use the search there is a bunch of info on this.

Why don't you stop making your car sound like a weed eater and get a nice performance exhaust that you will be able to feel when you drive. You will love it later.

^ Man, don't listen to this fool. Weedeater!?

OP: Look... I consider myself a conservative modder. The Stage 3 exhaust mod sounds far from a yard tool. It creates a nice tone that complements the character of the car. It's not loud at all, under acceleration or at cruise. It's enough for you and someone in close proximity of you to notice. This set-up sounds right up your alley.

Terrible. Why in the heck do you want your car to sound loud without the gains? I say do the exhaust and stop trying to imitate it. For thos of you who have never had a V8, you should really try one to mess with. Talk about NA engines with room to grow.

My intent wasn't to compete with an aftermarket performance exhaust. I can care less about power gains. For what I use my vehicle for doesn't necessitate the need for additional torque or horsepower. I was looking for a subtle increase in... I guess I can call it "audio aesthetics". I'm not dogging those who live for squeezing every bit of power out of a motor, but I'm not going to put my money into something that I'm not going to use everyday. I spent less than $350 (including the quad tips) for an exhaust that doesn't scream "I've got balls", but one that I felt fit the character of what my Acura is to me... an entry level luxury sport sedan.

lol in response to your "oh lord" comment... I guess we can agree to disagree on this one. Out of pure curiousity, what are your running on your car (I am assuming you're behind the wheel of a TL like the majority of us here)? Just because I have no need to enhance the performance numbers on my car doesn't mean I don't appreciate the tuner community. Care to share?

Sweet. I understand that washing one's car will reduce drag, increasing the fuel mileage a mile or two per gallon.

j/k... thanks for honestly answering.

Choosing exhaust, searched, need help!

I have searched AZ and youtube. I am having a hell of a time debating between comptech, ATLP and RV6's full cat back exhaust system. I can't decide, it's driving me nuts.

I want the MOST Wheel horsepower/torque, and not stupid loud exhaust. It is hard to judge sound off the internet.

What are the suggestions?

I will also be buying a j pipe from either RV6 or ATLP

Yeah... tanabe is pretty quiet out there. And sits on the car pretty nice. I think there's a video on their site...
