question regarding TL's with nav and intake intall
i'm about to do the intake install with a fellow AZ member out in the same area as i am today. I've been reading alot of the forum posts, and it seems that some have unplugged the battery...
1) is it really necessary to do this? i mean the instruction and if what i believe is true, the forum members who've done this seem to all agree that taking off the front bumper will make the job a whole lot easier.
2) if it is necessary to unhook the battery, isn't the navi and radio id codes going to restart and thus require the codes again? and if so, is there anyway to figure out the codes before i unplug the the car? (i dont have any of the codes, they're stashed back in NY and there's no one living in the NY place)
please help me out.
and thanks in advanced

and thanks in advancedto answer your questions.
1)I got my intake installed 2 days ago and it made the job much more easier by taking the bumper off as there was 1 screw that was very hard to reach that we could not see.
2)We did unplug the battery and I didnt have the code on me so what I did was call my dealership's service department and ask if they could give me the code and they did wit no problem after they verirfied who I was.
