Which Quads fit in OEM base Aspec Lip?

Hello, guys.

I want to get a aftermarket exhaust system on my car. I def want to go Quads as it looks the best. I have a 2004 TL with the Base Aspec Lip. Which Quads fit in there?

Also, once i have the mufflers how much do shops usually charge to do custom piping? Lastly, in terms of sound.. i want a deep tone, but no drone.

i think xlr8 and richies rv6 exhaust offer quad tips for the base. As far as drone goes i couldnt tell ya. Theres a few threads with a complete rv6 pcd setup back to his true dual exhaust that has no rasp that may interest you. As for xlr8 from the clips ive seen the exterior tone sounds good.

*edit: are you looking for a complete exhaust setup or just mufflers?

If you're gonna keep your cats, you could go with Vibrant mufflers VIB1148, It have single wall dual outlet, so you can trim them at the bumper shape.

Iddy biddy quads look 10x ricier than classic round singles.

Only way to do it right is to get the Type-S bumper and full size quads.

Rule of thumb. Single tips that you can put your fist in are ricey. Smaller than that you're ok.

I recently went from dual tips back to the stock ones. I like the way it follows the body line. Maybe consider using the stock ones, get them chromed, and welded to a larger pipe.

IMO. Magnaflow mufflers give the BEST sound to our cars.

FWIW, ATLP quads will fit the base Aspec rear lip with some slight modification. Some guys actually cut the lip out around the tips, but I found that if you have a decent heat gun and some basic shaping tools you can stretch the openings enough to get them to fit.
