Quad exhuasts?

since atlp is done producing theirs, are there any other companies that produces quads for the TL...or even the quad mufflers by themselves? I know comptech and greddy are only dual.

Maybe you can ask ATLP to make the base exhaust with the tips hacked off... It actually has four exhaust holes... if you look at the pics, so maybe you can order one without the tips and get your own tips.

XLR8 is your only option now for a production aftermarket quad. Like gatdammit said, you could get the base ATLP and replace the tips since the mufflers have dual exits. I wouldn't be surprised to see people doing this since it's the same exhaust system, just different tips. Not sure what tip options are available out there though. If I were in the market, I would go XLR8 though........good looking/sounding system and no need to modify.

I am waiting to see the first "modded" ATLP base exhaust though. With the demand for the quads I have to think this is coming.......

^^ATLP now makes the Base TL exhaust which has 4 openings with 2 tips, so like gatdammit said, you could always cut those off and replace them with your own set of tips

Only problem with that would be finding a good shop that can make some for me with the staggered look

why wouldnt u just get XLR8? it looks stock and sounds bad ass. I honestly dont see the difference between ATLP and XLR8, maybe the sound just a little bit.

Actually I am having the same issue....I want the atlp quad but since I cannot get my hands on one I dunno what to do. I know someone in CT selling an xlr8 quad for a decent price but as much as I want the quad I just cannot bring myself to buy it......I really want an atlp.
I am looking into an atlp base as well since I feel this is my only option if I want an atlp.

You could hack up the atlp base and throw some different tip's on there but I wouldn't. If you are gonna do that I would suggest getting some stromung tips, they need to be 3.5" and you're good. I think this is as close as you will get to the real atlp quad....but like I said, not my style, imo an atlp should not be hacked up.

I'm sure the XLR8 ones are awesome. But I guess if I was "steered" into modifying the ATLP one, it would give me a chance to try those Remus tips. There squarish looking ones.

Those are bad ass! Anyhow, if you don't want any chopping, just go with XLR8. Or maybe ATLP is willing to sell the exhaust without tips? Who knows?

Maybe these mufflers could be a good start for the set up you trying to get
