Probably some simple questions?

ok so i am getting richies true dual exhaust whenever he finishes them hopefully soon. Before getting those i am going to buy his v3 jpipe and v3 hfpc.

only thing is, what is the difference between the v3 jpipe and long tube jpipe?

with long tube jpipe can i install hfpc? what would be best to get long tube or just jpipe?

so when i get what i want if jpipe and hfpc or long tube jpipe i hear this will cause rasp.

if i get a magnaflow resonator to help with rasp would i probably need to get new resonator with richies true dual exhaust or would the resonator i get probably do the trick with that also?
i just dont wanna buy resonator now and have to buy new one again once i add the catback.

ok so a side job i have to do is install my led switchbacks i bought from v-leds. i dont do much of the work on my car i usually get my mechanic to do it for me since i am not much of a mechanic.

i am gonna start doing my own work from now on, anyone got a DIY on how to install leds to my headlights turn signals. how do i install resistor and where? if theres no DIY can anone help me out with this?

if you lived closer, i would have been willing to help with the resistors but it's an easy install.

long tube j-pipe = v3... they are one in the same.

yes you can install HFPC with the j-pipe since they are a separate component that comes before the j-pipe.

you shouldn't get that much rasp with a stock cat back.. since you're not getting PCDs

if you get a resonator, you can weld it in the exhaust you have now to get rid of any rasp you might have (i would just wait to order one until a week after the cats and j-pipe have been installed so that some carbon can build up).
i don't think the true dual has much rasp judging from the clips that i've listened to. youtube it

If you didn't get the picture for your other question, the length has to do with whether you seek low end or high end power via RPM, and for what purpose you may be wanting the change. If your car doesn't accelerate fast and you want it too, you want low end. You want to increase your top speed and be able to get there faster, top end. Sorry if any of this offends your already acquired knowledge, just something for you to digest.

In addition, if your worried about smog, your whole exhaust set-up will need to be taken into consideration.

So? I guess I have not looked into this "true dual" situation, but how can you use a v3 jpipe and have a true dual? its just dual after the jpipe? That I would call fake dual, or unnecessary dual, but not true dual..............

you are correct.

its not a "true dual" per se.
after the jpipe, it does have X over creating a dual effect.
it does have two tubes.
mere marketing, if you ask me.
BUT it does produce an amazing sound.
HP gains are similar to the other catbacks out there

Sorry, but this is all marketing.
either jpipe(XLR8 or RV6) will gain throughout the powerband.
yes, the design of the pipe matters, but when it comes down to it, you possibly cannot feel if it gained more top end or low end.
as we all know, our cars LOVE the RPM range of 4k-7k.
this range is where you'll feel the most power from either pipe.
