Porsche 996 Turbo Exhaust Tips

Can someone photoshop these tips on a TL? Could they even fit and look right if welded to an aftermarket muffler?

They are, just $650 cheaper. The Techart tips are almost $800. I thought they might look ok on a TL, just not sure on the overall width of the tips.

Any exhaust shop should be able to fab it up but yea as you said I would get the measurements. If its on a base TL it might not go too well but on a type s its slightly diff since it does have a larger opening with the curve on there to highlight the exhaust.

Yea - it is a slightly different style. They are the same dimensions without the angle.

I wouldn't do it. Porsche pulls it off because the design the back bumper with it in mind. The TL's bumper just doesn't match well, and I'd bet it leaves a bit of a gap.

BTW, the reason the TL above looks off is because someone messed up. The smaller hole is a complete circle with the larger circle branching off it. Not, the other way around.

Does this have one single piece to weld on to the base TL exhaust or do you originally have to have quad exhaust?

I'm pretty sure JayVee is running this tips. Check out the pics in his thread.

I purchased these a few weeks ago:

The car has been in the shop now though for a few weeks so I haven't been able to finish up the exhaust. I'm still debating if I want to try them or go a different route.

Actually, I think 2-3 people have already done that. I think the most famous is Rodney's TL in NY(?).

And holy thread revival.
